Helpers

Meet the Helpers:

Jorrit Veldhuis:
Jorrit Veldhuis, 33 years old. I started being a helper at the age of 16. In 2013 I became a competition helper and since 2022 i got my all-round licence. I have done many competitions already in the Netherlands as a competition helper as well as an all-round helper. And a cherry on top: this will be  the first time at a World Cup. I am really looking forward to experiencing this. See you in Gaanderen 💪

Kim Hooymayers:
My name is Kim Hooymayers and I am 32 years old. I have been a helper for about 8 years now. In 2022 I obtained my competition license and in 2024 my all-round license. In the past few years I have also been able to run many beautiful competitions, including the NK (National Championships) of the Dutch Shepherds and the NK of the Belgian Shepherds. For me, being a helper is really a passion that I hope to be able to enjoy for a long time. I am therefore very much looking forward to this beautiful event!

Edris Fathi:
First of all, I would like to thank the organization for this invitation. It is an honor to be at this event. I am 38 years old and live with my wife Jantien and our two daughters, Malin and Rana, in Terwolde. In 2013, I started being a helper, and three years later, in 2016, I obtained my all-round license.

Since then, I have been able to contribute to our sport with great passion and dedication. I have been able to because helper three times at the Dutch championships for German shepherds, twice for Belgian shepherds, and once for the Bouviers – including the world championship for that breed. In addition, I have also been able to experience the championships for all breeds three times and once to play an international match in Belgium. What a wonderful experience it was.

A special highlight was my trip to South Africa, where I was allowed to being a helper at the nationals there. An experience I will never forget.

This career has not only brought me beautiful memories and achievements, but also friendships and beautiful memories in dog sports.

Tracklayers

Raymond Bruil:

My name is Raymond Bruil, 54 years old and I live in Warnsveld. I have been active in dog sports for about 32 years. First as a handler, later also as a competition decoy, and later through courses as an all round decoy. In the meantime I have also continued training dogs, I have achieved IGP III with several dogs. In addition, I have also followed the track layer course. This weekend, the world championship of the Dutch shepherds, I am also a track layer.

Good luck everyone.
Sportive greetings,

Raymond Bruil.

Peter Boeters:
My name is Peter Boeters,

I have been training with a Rottweiler for years, competed three times at the World Championship Rottweilers, twice with a female Jazz and with male Boet at the World Championship in my own country. With my current Rottweiler Mike Tyson van Thuredrecht I became Dutch champion tracking dog 3 last November. I have therefore automatically been selected for the World Championship Rottweilers, Tracking Dog 3 in Hungary October 2025.

With my female Dutch-Diva vom Cama Wabak who I picked up in Chicago myself, I train for IGP. You wonder why? why? To bring back the working line, I have a thing for tracking, it is so beautiful to see how dogs make the impossible possible with their nose and I am happy that I can be a part of that. In recent years I have been laying the tracks for many exams and competitions as well as championships.

I wish everyone a sporty and pleasant World Championship, compete and enjoy!

Martin Boeters:
My name is Martin Boeters, 61 years old and living with my girlfriend Andrea, together we have 3 dogs, 2 rottweilers and a jack-russel.

Before dog sports I was a fanatic in equestrian sports, I was a sidecar passenger on a 2 and 4-in-hand, and in 1995 we became world champions with our combination.
It was my brother Peter who got me into dog sports, 12.5 years ago we got our first rottweiler Baya vom Schoss Zabo from him. Andrea trained her to IGP III and SPH V, she currently trains with our male Magnus von Scwartzen Grat who is now 5 years old.
7 years ago I signed up for the track laying course and from that moment on I have been stuck in tracking, so we spend many hours together on the road with the dogs.
